About me

I trained as a director at Australia’s prestigious National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA).

In theater, I work as a director, dramaturg, actor, deviser, and writer, depending on the needs of the project. Most of my work as director and dramaturg has been on new plays. This has become my specialty and is also my joy.

I teach Embodiment (breath, voice, movement) and acting with a focus on the Psychology of Movement (Yat) technique. I coach groups and individuals, and also work with schools, teachers and parents.

Much of my work is conducted out of my home studio in West Oakland.

I am proud to be associated with two SF Bay Area activist theaters:

3Girls Theatre which develops, promotes and presents new work by emerging women+ playwrights over 40.

Aviva Arts, an arts and wellness hub which rose from the closure of foolsFURY Theater and focuses on uplifting the stories of those less heard and creating theater and events for wellness and healing.

In addition, I have extensive experience in Waldorf / Steiner education and have training in Relational Education (nature/other/self), anti-racism and facilitation.

I’m also a facilitator of transitional moments for groups or individuals. Learn more about this work at Spring of Rites.

Let's collaborate!
