Spring of Rites
Honoring life transitions through connection with self, nature and community.
The one constant in life is change…
Change is hard.
I provide Rites of Passage programs for…
11-13 year-olds making the transition from childhood to adolescence.
Women+ in perimenopause and menopause
Those experiencing the Emptying of their Nest
Spring of Rites helps ease the pain of change through a process of community engagement, connection to nature, introspection and ritual.
Why Rites of Passage?
For 11-13 year-olds, rites of passage:
Help them build the confidence they need to make positive life choices.
Contribute to them finding a sense of belonging, forming strong bonds with multiple generations along the way.
Support them to be strong, confident and mindful members of society.
Provide connection to others
Enables them to be valued members of society, which has been shown to reduce mental health issues.
Provides a forum for reflection and introspection that helps one to feel freer.
Helps the path to adulthood to be happier and healthier.
For perimenopause, menopause and emptying of the nest; rites of passage:
Gives community, information, connection and support during a critical life transition that is overwhelmingly unmarked and unmediated.
Mark, honor and celebrate a crucial life change, allowing us to transition from the past into a new state with positivity and readiness.
Provide connection with each other and the natural world, helping us better understand ourselves in relation to others.
Facilitates a forum for reflection and introspection, allowing us to be witness our own transition.
Offers a community of support, allowing us to understand we are all simultaneously the same and beautifully unique.
Allow us to join with those entering the same transition and share the difficulties and the joys. We can laugh, cry and move together to move through and emerge more connected, more balanced and more ready for the next stage of your life.
Enable us to live authentically, freer and happier lives.
